Anti-wrinkle Treatment

OVERVIEW

Botox® is used as an anti-wrinkle treatment which blocks impulses to facial muscles which in turn helps  the muscles to relax,  This results in the  reduction of expression lines resulting in a more radiant and youthful look.  Area’s which are ideal for treatment include the ‘Crow’s feet’, the frowning muscles and the muscles which elevate the brow.

The ideal time to have such a procedure is when you start noticing the dynamic lines appearing regardless of expression and appear even when static.  This can take place usually during your 30’s,  which may differ from person to person depending on your sun exposure,  stress,  smoking and other environmental factors.

 

Botox® at Park Clinique is only performed by our most experienced Doctors as patient safety is paramount.  Botox® can be used with other treatments such as the PRP therapy to optimise the results.  The procedure will serve to reduce and soften the lines and wrinkles in the specific area targeted to help achieve a very natural and refreshed appearance.

Time Taken:  Depending on the amount of areas being treated, a Botox® appointment can be done in as little as 15 minutes.

How long it lasts: Botox® lasts for three to six months depending on the client.

Procedure: During a Botox® treatment, Doctor Rashid/Dr Kalsoom will administer a controlled amount of Botox® into the patient using a small needle. An optional numbing cream is available, but the procedure is relatively pain free.

​

How long will the results be seen in: Botox results can be seen after a few days, with the full effect becoming visible in around a week.

 

Downtime: There is no downtime with Botox, although patients may be advised to stop taking medications such as aspirin prior to the appointment to minimize the chances of bruising.
